In Memory of our "Partner"...May the "Powder" always be fresh...
Fire Captain and Dispatcher, Mendocino Ranger Unit
Howard Forest Emergency Command Center

Friendship is a blessing....
it's the best you have to share,
The talents and the wisdom,
the capacity to care.
It's being there to lend support,
whatever needs arise.
It's making sure that others know
they're special in your eyes.
Friendship is a blessing
and to all who have a friend,
It's one of the most precious gifts
that life could ever send.
You've given friendship meaning
in a way that's all your own,
With the special gifts and talents
that belong to you alone.
And I know that of the blessings
I could hope for life to send,
None could make me happier...
than knowing you're my friend!

We will miss you Buddy...
Your Partners...Kevin, Brian, Rusty, Mark, Beth.
And everyone from CDF, Mendocino County Fire/Rescue, and Calstar...

Murrell proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He told me one of the most emotional events in his life was when he recently visited the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.

As a Fire Captain, Murrell was also a dispatcher for CALSTAR Air Ambulance, Ukiah, CA Such a love for Life...yet lost so soon

Murrell was also a Deputy with the
Mendocino County Sheriff's Office
and in 1972 ~ 1974 was the resident
Deputy in Laytonville, CA.
