Condolences and Reflections for
Ron Brauer, Jr.
June 2, 2002

"God has made a special place in Heaven for this new Angel..."

I had the honor of being Ron's dance partner on the UNLV dance team one year. Ron made even the toughest practices worth going to and enjoying. I will miss everything about him, especially his goofy grin and his knack for making everyone laugh. I can't help but smile through my tears as I think of him. My love and prayers are with his family and friends.

My condolences go out to the Brauer family. I am very sorry for the loss of your young son. It is a tragedy when anyone dies but when a young person dies before they have a chance to live is a real tragedy. I just wanted to say that the God of all comfort 2Corinthians 1:3,4 promised that the things that cause us sorrow such as death will be no more and paradise conditions will prevail upon this earth as stated in Revelation 21:3,4. You will be able to recieve your son back in the resurrection as stated in the Bible at John 5:28,29. Again I am very sorry for you tremendous loss. Donna

Ronnie... I remember you, as a baby, when someone (usually your Dad) would put your pacifier in upside down, and you would give them that look like "boy are you stupid" and with a flip of your tongue, turn the pacifier rightside up again. I remember you, as a child in soccer, giving it your all, running up and down the field with that big smile on your face. I remember you, as a teenager, coming into your own... growing tall and hansome, but always a gentleman. And in college, being on the ballroom dance team... the total package as Gary used to say. I told your mother once that I felt that you were special to God and might become a priest. I think I was right... you are special to God and that is why he called you Home so soon. I pray for your family, friends and co-workers to find peace. I don't need to pray for you because I know where you are. Your pain is gone now and you are happy in heaven watching over those of us who love you. You are special to so many of here. Help us as we grieve, watch over us and keep us safe from harm... we all seem to 'lose our minds' for moments at a time as we are lost in our thoughts of you. You are at peace now, may we all find our own peace with your passing soon. Your loving cousin,

Ron & Cindy, We all share your loss and wish we could share your burden more. I also lost a son, and wish I knew how to comfort you. I believe that we continue on to another life and will someday be reconnected. Time will ease your pain.

Ron and Cindy, I know what an inspiration you've been to me in many ways, you're kind smiling faces and encouragement in the past. My prayers for you are that you can continue to get the inspiration and love from others and the guidance and understanding of God to get you through this most difficult time. I can't imagine your grief but I know your strength. Much, much love to you and your family.

Iam truly saddened by the death of your son. I lost a child a year and a half ago and a nephew one year ago. They were both young adults. I know how empty and lonesome you feel. The memory of them will go on and they are always in my prayers. You too will find peace and smile when you think of Ronnie. Give yourself time to heal. They are not gone they are just away.

Ron and I were the Best of Friends for many years and I always considered myself not only lucky for that but to be a part of the Brauer Family as well. He was always a special person with a heart of Gold. Although he may no longer be here with us, he will always be with us for we have some truly great memories to look back on and smile.

I didn't know your son personally but any parent can understand the love that only a child can bring into ones life. Today I had the opportunity to learn about your love for him and learned of how spectacular he was. As a mother of three children, my heart and prayers go out to you and your family. May you find strength in the memories and opportunities you've shared together.
