Condolences and Reflections for
Jeffrey John Martinez, 36
Firefighter, San Benito/Monterey County
California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection

December 10, 2004
"Another Hero who has earned his Angel Wings..."

Please accept my deeptest sympathy.I could only imagine your sorrow as my son also a firefighter and EMT was laid to rest at 33 years of age. Include on his grave marker is Rev 21:3-5 meant to give everyone a reminder of the wonderful hope for all. Also we are reminded in God's Word that Jesus had resurrected his friend Lazurus from out of his burial tomb at John chapter 11. That's why Jesus said in John 5:28,29 at a future time he will call all those from their memorial tombs-an assured hope we will see our loved ones again. I have received this information from a booklet "When Someone You Love Dies". One of the sections is called 'How Can I live With My Grief'-very caring and comforting information. If you would like a personal copy free of charge I'll be happy to send it to you. Take care of yourself and take comfort from God's Word. Sincerely, D Gordon
